Blackface has accused 2face Idibia of stealing popular single 'Let somebody love you' from him. The former members of the defunct group, Plantashun Boiz, have had issues in the past over song ownership, with Blackface earlier claiming one of 2face Idibia's hit songs 'African Queen'. The 'Erima' singer has come out again with fresh claims, alleging that 2face's 2014 single 'Let somebody love you', is his. The song is featured on 2face's "Ascension" album, and features international recording act, Bridget Kelly. The Deputy National Leader of the Northern Elders Forum (NEF), Dr. Paul Unongo, has insisted that former President Goodluck Jonathan should be probed over the $2.1billionn arms deal. Unongo, who was power and steel minister in the Second Republic, said Jonathan should be jailed if found to have corruptly enriched himself in the $2.1bn deal and refuses to refund his share of the loot. Unongo, however, said the ex-President deserved consideration for conceding defeat in the last elections and by helping the country to avert an impending national crisis. Read according to the guy below… Few minutes ago, While drinking water before I left a garden somewhere in Garki Abuja‎ where I just had lunch. I saw 3 young men holding a huge live rat they just caught in the garden. Out of curiosity, I asked them if they were aware of Lassa fever and to my greatest surprise they knew nothing of such. From a distance, I watched them slaughter the rat, smoke it and proceeded into the kitchen where the food I ate came from. This is a clear evidence that the publicity and enlightenment campaign given to the disease is below sufficient. I'm starting to believe what a caller on radio said some days back; that unlike Ebola, the poor are more vulnerable to Lassa fever hence the government won't give it adequate attention.‎ Meanwhile, I just had lunch in this garden, and starting to get worried if I may have contacted the disease, and I'm picking up my daughter from school in another 2 hours. Briefing newsmen on the state of Lassa fever in the state following the recent outbreak in some states, Permanent Secretary Ministry of Health Bauchi, Dr. Saidu Aliyu Gital said that 71 cases were reported from 2012 to 2016. Meanwhile, as fear continue to spread among the people of Benue State over the scourge of the fever in neighboring states of Nassarawa and Taraba, the state government has urged the people of the state not to panic as it has put in place measures to prevent possible epidemic in the state. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has said the commission will not release detained spokesperson of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, until he returns the N400m he allegedly received from embattled former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki. The Benue State Government has asked its citizens to stop eating rats in the meantime in order to curtail the spread of Lassa Fever in the State.
