Chinese club offers N66m a week

Super Eagles captain, John Obi Mikel has been offered $212,000 a week (about N66m official rate) by Chinese club Shanghai SIPG. The offer according to owngoalnigeria.com was made to the player's agent after the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Algeria. Mikel has been frozen out by Chelsea coach Antonio Conte despite being in a rich physical form. He has been linked to a move in January to French club Marseille. Mikel is now faced with the choice of taking the huge pay or settle for the former UEFA Champions League champions, where he faces a pay cut. Shanghai SIPG is rated third in terms of wealth and revenue in the Chinese league and the club is currently managed by former Chelsea coach Andre Villas-Boas. It also has Sven Goran Erikson former England coach in the management team. Last season Mikel turned down a move to Shanghai Shenhua, which currently have in its squad, former Super Eagles striker Obafemi Martins who is living large in China.

TO ALL ENEMIES OF MMM

It's high time we call a spade a spade. The earlier the better for FG, House of Rep, CBN, all Banks and Bloggers to be careful and takeoff their dirty, stinky mouth from the rate at which they mouth-spoil MMM.  As a matter of fact, the only reason why Nigerians most especially youths are not on the street demanding for Buhari's head is because of God sent schemes like MMM.  If they don't know, let us tell them that WE (participant of MMM) can decide to stop patronizing banks (switching to bitcoin) if they (FG, CBN and local banks) will not see reasons to stop given us issues .  Are they blind to see or deaf to hear the news of how a particular president in Africa encourages Youths to take up the opportunities. I believe they know MMM is the CHANGE we've been praying for long ago.  If they don't backout, the banks and Nigeria economy will end up regretting because they will end up forcing us to create and promote a platform where we buy and sell in Bitcoin (The Hard

It was gathered that after he was arrested, the EFCC operatives recovered one voter's card and a debit card bearing Obohor Damilola from him. The EFCC's Head, Media and Publicity, Wilson Uwujaren, said the Commission got wind of his fraudulent activities through a series of intelligence reports on his suspicious transactions in one of the branches of an old generation bank in Ado-Ekiti, through which he received about N7,453,799 from victims. He said: "The victims include L. D. Marte w

A total of another batch of 10,000 residents, mostly teachers are also to benefit from the free-eye test and free eye glasses programme set to take off in a couple of weeks. According to him, the ages of the benefiting youths shall be between 17-20 years, while 50 of them will be randomly selected from each of the 177 wards in the state without political consideration. He explained that his decision to introduce the said empowerment for that category of youths was to alleviate the burden of sponsorship placed by the current economic recession on their parents, most of who he said are teachers.  The governor declared that more support programmes such as provision of conducive environment in schools, employment of more teachers, provision of needed instructional materials as well as training and retraining were in the offing.
